Eye Tests
We provide both private and free NHS eye tests.
The following groups are entitled to free NHS eye tests at Horizon Opticians (subject to NHS regulations),
We also accept
corporate Accor Eyecare Vouchers and various other corporate schemes. We also provide more specialist
examinations such as glaucoma screening, children's examinations,
corporate eye tests, contact lens fitting, VDU/computer examinations
and occupational vision screening.

Glasses

You can also choose from the latest designer glasses from Gucci, Diesel, Prodesign and Jai Kudo (from only £125 complete with lenses). We also
stock rimless and titanium (hypoallergenic) frames. All of our glasses
are provided with a lifetime free aftercare service and minimum one year guarantee.
We also provide safety
spectacles which meet or exceed the latest British Standards for
industrial or light commercial use to comply with Health & Safety
regulations.

You'll find a good range of standard and specialist lenses, and coatings. Choose from single vision, thin & light, bifocal, varifocal, Transitions, polarised or tinted lenses. You can also choose from top brands including Varilux, Zeiss, Nikon & Hoya (from only £89). You will find an excellent range of varifocal lenses, from our easy to use entry-level varifocal (only £59), to the latest customised freeform designs.
We recognise everyone has unique visual requirements, and so we can offer hundreds of combinations of lenses to suit. Our experienced staff will guide you though the right options. Being an independent optician enables us to source almost any available lens, unlike some of our competitors.

Contact Lenses
 
Experience true freedom with contact lenses. Contact lenses are a popular alternative to glasses. Whether you want lenses for occasional use, or for all day wear, we can help find the right lens for you, including Acuvue and CIBA Vision lenses. We will guide you from the initial fitting through to training on insertion, removal and care of your lenses.
We supply a wide range of comfortable & healthy contact lenses, starting from only £8 per month. We can take the hassle out of contact lenses by providing complete packages that include contact lenses, solutions and aftercare. Home delivery is available with many lenses.
